Website Manager

FNLL relies on volunteers for its success, with roles in leadership, coaching, and team support. To ensure safety, all volunteers undergo annual background checks and must reapply each season, regardless of past clearance. New volunteers are required to submit a government ID and Social Security number for these checks.

Volunteer Requirement

Each family is required to complete at least one (1) volunteer shift per season. You'll choose your volunteer role during registration, or you may select the opt-out option for a fee of $125 per player.

Who’s Exempt?

Each team is allowed a limited number of “official” volunteer positions, which are exempt from other volunteer shifts:

  • 1 Manager
  • Up to 2 Assistant Coaches
  • 1 Team Parent
  • 1 Scorekeeper
  • 1 Field Prep Person

If you are not in one of these official roles, you are expected to complete a snack bar shift or opt out. The team’s Manager must submit the list of official roles to the league before the season begins.

Teen Volunteers – "For Hire" List

Need help covering your snack bar shift? FNLL maintains a list of local teens who are available to work volunteer shifts for a small fee. Families coordinate payment directly with the teen.

Background Check Policy

To ensure a safe environment, all volunteers must undergo an annual background check. This is required every season, even if you've volunteered in the past. New volunteers must submit a government-issued ID and Social Security number.
